Set achievable goals and measure them regularly.  Follow-up is essential to ensure that people know how they stand against their goals.  When these two elements are working in tandem, no performance appraisal should be a surprise.  Open the lines of communication and provide the guidance and direction to motivate your employees into excellence.

 

Communication

Our core philosophy is people over process. We strive to provide the best and we value integrity, excellence, respect, inclusion, and collaboration. Effective communication is essential for us to help foster a great relationship between us and our client to drive better results and improve efficiency. We actively listen to our clients and provide precise feedback to help them during decision-making process. 

Teamwork

Teamwork exists when there is a level playing field, when employees feel the freedom to express, without fear of retribution, their ideas and solutions to problems.  A measure of how well the customer is satisfied is a measure of your teamwork.  Successful teamwork is achieved when peers support and communicate with each other on a regular basis.

 

Leadership is a tripartite process: setting expectations, coaching and mentoring their progress and conducting an appraisal of their performance. Be a teacher and a mentor. Share your knowledge with your employees. Develop a mindset of ‘servant’ leadership, by supporting and meeting the needs and requests of your employees, required to accomplish their job. Be accountable and prepared to accept full responsibility. Create a climate in which you can teach your employees how to take responsibility for their actions. Also remember, employee’s families are very important to them and recognize that employees shouldn’t have to split their loyalties.

We expect employees and management to meet timetables and commitments. This may mean longer hours or adjusting the schedule as necessary when appropriate. The point is, if you have a due date, meet it. This is especially important for commitments to others, outside your immediate organization.
