Mark has 25 years of HEDIS®, data management, analytics and data warehouse expertise. He has extensive experience leading HEDIS® submissions for Medicare, Special Needs Plans, Commercial and Medicaid plans.
Mark specializes in HEDIS® rate improvement through advanced data governance, deep measure analytics and strategic medical record pursuit and review strategies. Additionally, he has specific proficiency in the Medicare STARS Part D measures and the NCQA HEDIS® measure certification program.
He has worked for medium to large size health plans and HEDIS® certified and abstraction software vendors integrating health care analytics with quality improvement business functions. Mark has also held numerous leadership roles directing software development, quality and project teams to improve and streamline processes and improve quality scores.
Al has over 23 years of experience as an accomplished business leader, Senior Project Manager and IT Developer in custom application development, user interface design, testing, implementation, operations, maintenance and support; database development and administration; web portal, intranet and system integration, and project management.
He manages, oversee and lead development of custom web applications and IT solutions for clients of all types on projects spanning the full breadth of industry and government sectors.
